Feel like Tonga have us covered in most areas

Back 5 even
Halves on 2024 form probably even
Starting front row we get them
Backrow they smash us
Bench they look stronger too

Going to be a very tough game
I agree. I feel like Moses Suli could have a field day against Old Man Hiku. How do people think Hiku went on the weekend?

Was Riki dropped? I thought he was one of our better performers when he came on adding much needed spark.

Hiku didn't get much ball to put players in space which his best attribute, and weirdly for someone who's gone north his legs looked way skinnier than when he was down here which seemed strange.

As always in this matchup since that 2017 game I think the Tongan pack is being overrated v ours. As Manu notes above Taumalolo is more impressive on paper these days. It's the second rowers and AFB that actually worry me if they're within 5m of our line.

I'm genuinely disappointed we're running CNK at 6 again. He did nothing there (not a slight on him, he's not a 6) and we seriously needed some spark in the halves with all the ball we had close to the Roos line.

I thought Hiku went well, can’t remember Hammer doing much opposite him
the Crighton "try" was poor defense but apart from that the attacks didnt really come down his side. They targeted Timoko after Tom had great success. I just remember Hiku being poor defensively as a body of work (career) so thats why im worried about a big bopper like Suli vs him. Hope to be wrong though.

Riki over Niukore would have been my choice. Niukore was bog average and just a flow on from his last few Warriors games.

Worst possible start. Crowd and enemy amped now.
Kiwis are in trouble early. This is a good Tongan team.
