Ok, this may cause a bit of angst, but breaking the bench up into a 14 and then will do a bulk one for the other 3 spots using the best of the rest forwards. This is to avoid ending up with a bench made up of Gower, Carter, Api & Luai for example, will include a few forwards here for those that prefer no utility. If any glaring omissions let me know & I'll add.

This is a toughie.

I want to go Gower but then I'd need outside back cover in the remaining three spots.

I like Garner but I don't think he is all time seventeen quality individually but as a member of the squad he was needed in the outside backs as injury cover in two winning GFs and was great in both.

Same situation with Capewell.

I guess 2010 Luke Lewis was the right body shape and still had the agility to play centre.

I'll add Critta just to make it harder, ha ha. Should have had him to start with really.

Went Gower. He is the best on that list. Played Hooker and Halfback for Australia. Nice spark @ hooker for when Royce is off.
80's Brandy can cover any injury in the backs.

Luke Lewis at hooker would be truely awful.

There are heaps of utility players that I’d put ahead of him.

I love Luke Lewis, but not at 14.
What the criteria here? we are talking ”all time” and carrying a second hooker was never a thing 10 years ago. If your looking for a 14 who can cover the backs and forwards then Luke Lewis is the perfect 14

Gotta be romey, as much as I reckon gowers a good pick aswell, romey missed out on our 5/8th pick, and he has won 4 in row as our resident half, probably need to think of those who deserve to be there and can also sub on as whatever,
The poll should be 14-17, and just throw 20 names out there, best 4 are the bench, then nominate an 18th man for missed out honours

Was trying to avoid a bench of utilities.

Lewis 100% Will be on my bench, but at 17.

I think the 14 needs to be a utility.
