Both only ever won a premiership with us, Lewis had another with sharks, romey has already 4, and had started in our squad as a 14, while maloney was in our team

If they were in their prime - Gower and Lewis are in our top 17 every day of the week over the last 5 years.

4 rings says different, but again we'll have to see his effect on the worst team ever next year, I dare say Gower and Lewis would make a blip of difference in that tigers squad, in improvements, maybe just maybe romey does

Not in attack.

Across the Gfs his side of the ruck has been a brick wall.

That said I don't think his skill set is suited to the bench.

By that logic Luke Garner would deserve a place in our squad above Luke Lewis, Tony Puletua etc which is obviously ridiculous.

Not really we are talking about actual starters in their positions not making the 13, so settling for a bench spot, not Garner who's an actual benchie

he won't start if they are fit.
That's the issue with this best 17, are we choosing the best bench guys or are we choosing guys that never made the run on side, and purely gave us a great rotation coz Lindsay Smith is getting up there then, for a fwd position in that 14-17
