Luke Lewis is the best player on the list but didn't play that much second row for us.

Smokin' Joe G is underappreciated IMO. Not saying he makes the cut but for a couple of years he was unstoppable. God bless the hair bears.

Gosh this a good list. Panthers have always had good second rowers available almost no matter the era.

I went with Kikau and Waterhouse.

But that could easily be Pritchard/Marto or Carty/Puletua.

I'd have gone with Kikau/Pritchard BUT they are primarily both Left side 2nd rowers. Waterhouse did play both sides but was primarily on the right. Waterhouse could also shift to lock, prop or centre if need be and was a rock solid defender with an always dangerous offload.

Bill Ashurst was perhaps the most naturally talented forward I have ever seen.

Slight exaggeration perhaps, he was a terrific player at his best.

Five or six into two is tough. I’ll give this more thought but leaning towards Kikau and Tony P.

Some good options but went the original Carty party and Martin.

Pritchard at his best probably tops the list, unfortunately his best was far too infrequent.

I wish I’d have seen Ashurst, sounds like he was a special player too
