Its scary to actually think who we have coming through, the SG Ball side was dominant for most of their season and 8 of that squad can still play again next year, imagine them at u/20's in a couple of years

Heard it all before about penrith. They were suppose to dominate the Toyota cup when it started and they haven't even been in a grand final yet.

Its a big jump up from the lower grades to first grade.

We've taken the best of our Under 20's and thrown them into reserve grade. To better prepare them for first grade. They're coming off a massive win and starting to look the goods in reserve grade against grown men.

Our Under 20's team is much weaker then it was at the start of the year, but is still being competitive and grabbing wins. Not bad when the focus has been taken completely off them and put on the Wolves.

It also means, if they can manage to get a Top 4 position, come finals time, they may have 4/5 very good youngsters who have been playing against men coming back, although I expect Windsor to make it at least to the second or third week of finals.

would those 4 or 5 have to have played more nyc games than nsw cup this season? i think that is the rule about being eligible.

are these two sentences supposed to be about the same thing? the first one is about 18yo's with potential playing well and dominating a 20's comp. the second one is whether the pathway to first grade is too steep at penrith.

I think as long as they haven't been playing too many NRL games they can return. Jack Stockwell played most of last year in NSW Cup but played for the Dragons NYC team in the finals.

the focus at penrith has changed from recent years. The u20 is nothing but a steping stone and should be treated as such. Some of the boys have gone up to windsor and its great to see.No use use being a super star in u20 and not kicking on in grade

we were down 28-0 after 20mins last night to lead with 15 to go. Against a very good Warriors team. Capewell coming in. Mansour, Humble back atleast for Windsor means back to full selection of fit players.

We have Moss, Jennings & Foster in NSW Cup. 2 Hookers out 1 from NSW Cup. 1 from QLD U20's. We have spent $1m extra per junior squad since 2011 we are starting to get those through now.

Finally the Panthers are doing something the previous management failed to give to the fans - that being hope!

You have heard it all before because we have the most juniors, we should always be dominating that level pretty much. We havent due to piss poor management, this will be different, Gus has made the juniors the clubs main focus, we already have the best of the current 20s signed up. Our HM and SG ball sides were both close to the top of the table, so there is more talent coming through, with good management our FG side should b solid atleast for years to come, with good manqgement is the hard part.

Speaking of depth, the Raiders continue their winning streak without Cornish, Milford, Rueban and Brenko Lee.

Big game this week between the HC's two best sides. Should be a cracker. Hopefully Cornish and Lee are back on deck, cant see us winning if they arent

Evans is getting a crack at NSW Cup this week so we'll be without our first choice halves also. Plenty of talebt left to make this one of the games of the season.

If we are to win it will be up to Moss and Watene-Zelezniak IMO.

No Cartwright, Moseley, Jennings, Foster, Evans and Scarlett severely weaken our attack.

Don't worry we have plenty out. roughly 10. So we will be weakened also should still be a good game but just a shame both aren't full strength
