Panther's representative players

It seems to amaze me the number of panthers that are playing some sort of representative football, particularly when you consider that this time last year, the only representation we got was Gower and Clinton in the City team. But here's who we have got now ...

Australia: Craig Gower, Trent Waterhouse, Joel Clinton
City: Luke Lewis, Luke Rooney, Shane Rodney
Country: Amos Roberts, Luke Priddis
New Zealand: Paul Whatuira, Tony Puletua, Joe Gulavoa
Queensland (22 man squad): Rhys Wesser, Ben Ross

That's a wopping total of 13 players, in the starting 17 that are playing some sort of rep footy!

Amazing, what a premiership can do isn't it!

I just want to know what everyone thinks of this amazing fact?

Also, does anyone think that the panthers will struggle this year, with all the representative games this year?

I think its already showing isn't it, We are not used to playing so many games and its taking its toll.

Yes I may only play 40 minutes, but that is more game time than the panthers this year :lol: :lol: who only played 30minutes against the storm about 20 minutes against the dragons, 20 minutes against brissy, and about 30 minutes against the tiger,. As a rooster supporter I do not fear the panthers this season at all, there are a couple of others sides but not the panthers, and dont worry, I want run and hide like some of you and when I become a moderator I will not lock threads for no apparrent reason, I pride myself on letting everyone have a fair go as long as it is not abusive, or offensive. :idea:

Yeah well winning premierships and good form does warrant rep jerseys and for most of the Panthers, reps will be fairly new and they will have to get used to backing up from rep footy and im sure we will adapt to that.
