PANTHERS U/18's BLITZING THE POMS

I'm very proud of the Penrith Panthers U/18's side that is touring
England at the moment.

They have comfortably won all of their matches so far, and now
have only one more to go against Leeds on Tuesday night (UK time).

1st Match

Panthers 52
Huddersfield 24

2nd Match

Panthers 40
Hull 20

3rd Match

Panthers 68
Warrington 18

Congrats boys. You are doing Penrith and Australia proud.

And good luck on Tuesday night. A clean sweep is on the cards.

That's absolutely terrific for them. It's great how they get the chance to do this sort of thing each year, they would learn so much out of it.

Well, the baby Panthers travel home undefeated after beating the
Leeds Rhinos 26-20.

Good onya guys -- we are VERY proud of you, and the future in the
Penrith district is looking very bright.

I must say too, after seeing the St Dominics guys at the victory parade
last Friday -- WOW, they have some mighty big fellas in that team --
especially considering how young they still are. Most of them still have
a lot of growing to do yet.

I read in one of the local papers that Panthers had signed up all but
2 or 3 of the St Doms side. It's great for the future of the Panthers, but
you would also have to feel a little sorry for the few guys who missed out.
How rejected would they feel ? -- poor fellas.

I think you'll find that those 2-3 players were signed by other clubs before Penrith could get to them.

I hate the leeds rhinos more than anyone on the planet but the side that played against you wasnt the one that are one of the best teams in the comp, they were heavilly under strenght
