Parra and Ray Hadley

Parramatta have made an official complaint to 2GB regarding Ray Hadley and their treatment of the Parramatta club last saturday. The club have withdrawn all live to air ads, and only pre-recorded ads will be aired. They wouldve pulled all advertising with 2GB except they have a contract which is pre-paid for the full year.

Also, apparently Raaaaay and Denis have had a falling out in recent times. This may account for why the club have unfairly copped criticism recently.

Hadley's concerted anti Parramatta and anti Brian Smith comments have gone way too far, and i for one, applaud the clubs actions.

Hadley is an absolute Dickhead. What he has said about Smith on air went way too far. And the thing is that other teams under us have not copped it at all.

Im glad Denis has pulled the pin on 2GB.

I'm not sure how strong their friendship is, but they've had a few falling outs in the past. they almost have brotherly relationship. maybe their falling out is for good? lets hope so, Hadley is scum and his deadshit offsiders ain't much better.

Its unfair of Hadley to use his position, of a sports commentator, for his own personal agenda.

A bit like the Lohn Laws/Alan Jones sagas.

Big call, but Hadley seems to be a bigger tool than both these guys.

At least the Eels have put him on notice, which means he should now cut out that sort of crap and get on with his job.

Hadley's big thing with Smith is that he has taken us from the Minor Premiership to missing the finals. Hello???? Newcastle have now gone from winning the comp in 01 to missing the finals, where is the heat on Hagan? Oh thats right, lets go easy, because the knights had injuries.....but so did we!!

Not saying that injuries are an excuse, just that there is a clear double standard

I shall also commend this action by the club. I have stopped listening to Hadley as I am sick and tired of hearing the same rubbish over and over again. The man should take a big hard look at himself before he has a go at others.

brian also got critisted for the players he bought for this year, well what about newcastle? they only bought steve witt, i didnt hear hadly go off at them for a pretty lame recruitment drive. even for next year, they havent signed any big names and still they dont say a word :evil:

Hadley is realising that next year Parra are a real chance to have a huge season, thus must get all the bagging of our club out of his system before next year.

However Im sure he will find a way to bag a club that could be running 1st.

I hope and pray that during the next year, the NRL realise that Rraaayyyyy having an excusive contract is a bad thing, I don't mind if 2GB have the rights to the NRL but I hope they are not excusive any more and another station can start to call games. If that were to happen, Ray may even lift his standards and stop with the Counselling and Songs.

Did Rraayy at 2UE ever have to say "There are lines available and we are waiting for your call" because he has to at 2GB.

To be honest, he also bags the footy show (rightly so) but his show is turning in to the footy show of Radio.

I agree. If the NRL want the quality of broadcasts to improve, then they need to lose the "exclusive rights" thing. Having said that, it could mean 2UE using Johnny Gibbs.... which wouldn't exactly "improve" the quality of anything!!

Hadley despises Smith for the basic reason that Smith allies himself with Phil Gould therefore Smith doesn't give him the time of day.

Gus only speaks to Hadley during his capacity as New South Wales origin coach, and even then he does it very reluctantly.

Surely the NRL can do something about the actions of the Crown Goose of Radio and his flock of ugly ducklings

The NRL are trying to promote the Competition and the teams within, yet all we hear every weekend is the same old rubbish. Songs bagging out and/or mocking Players & Officials, a group of Biased commentators which includes the likes of Bob Fulton and Steve Roach (the Hadley 'yes' men) who virtually NEVER speak against what the Crown Goose says and an overall programme that has the sole intent to run vendetta's against the likely suspects.

I'm all for freedom of speech but that is not allowed on 2GB. Whatever a phone caller or emailer says, gets shot down with no right of reply. I don't know how many times i've heard someone call the show to argue against and or criticise constructively and Hadley disconnects them, calls them a gibberer and has the final say - which is the same for emails.

I know the show is meant to promte discussion, but I feel that the show does not do that anymore because hadley always finishes discussions - HIS WAY!!
