There is a press release on the eels website about the event.
What I found the most amusing was when someone was shouting out to Mark Riddell when I was standing in line, "Pig... OI PIG... RIDDELL... PIGGY... PIGGY... OI MARK", until he finally got his attention. They had a platter of food layed out in front of them and were eating it, only to have this guy go, "You haven't stopped, have ya mate?".
All of the guys started laughing sarcastically except Riddell, as if they knew this was going to happen due to the unpredictability of the setup with the food/the amount of times the jokes been used, that it has become lame. Riddell replied, "Yeah, that was pretty funny..." in a sarcastic and slightly bitter way and averted his gaze away from him. It's funny how they say Riddell is a bad clubs man, because he gets in fights etc, but with comments like these why wouldn't you? Though I did think he was fine with the stigma, but apparently not lol.
They looked worn out and a little disinterested though, probably because of the flight, or maybe because they wanted to be doing anything else. Probably a bit of both, but I'm not going to judge them. It was good of them to make it and they were at least attempting to be cheerful. It was pretty cool to see Parramatta fans congregating in the same place outside of a football event. They did whatever you requested them too which was cool, got pictures and signatures. Only really other negative is they turned up half an hour late, but that wasn't really an issue (Even though I did have to be somewhere else). That and I traveled 80 minutes all up by bus to Browns Plains and 80 minutes back to get there
