the refs are a disgrace tonight and has been for every parramatta game since the cowboys. this is almost like match tampering, making sure they get in the top 8. even last year this happened.
parra can't last on refs any more, warriors will smash you and knock you out of finals!

Yeah that's a sh*t rule...but regardless, Hannant was pretty stupid when it's been made clear to the players that you can't attack the kicker, pretty much at all.

Only poor calls in the game were a parra forward pass let go, Goodwin dropped the ball in Parras 10, but was let go & Hannets hit on Hayne after the kick was nothing. What, refs are biased for pulling up the Dogs for so many forward passes?

Parra, specifically Hayne, are awesome to watch when they're in form, thus they get a lot of attention, & like anything that's popular or mainstream, they are hated on by a group of people that think its 'cool' to do it. I can't wait to see them carve up the warriors, though I know that no matter how the game goes, there will be cries of secret deals between parra & the refs, how a missed forward pass turned the game, even if Parra win 50-0 etc.

Parra deserved to win by a landslide. Get over it.

I can understand the sentiment however I doubt that many if any of the refs have the ability to consistantly favour anyone.
I would say that the vast majority of refs and other officials are incompetent and inconsistant merkins.

There wasn't too much ref bias when they played the panthers. We deserved to lose that.

You may or may not be correct about refs playing favourites. I'm sure it happens here and there, and not always to the eels. You could make a case about having the eels getting up again being beneficial to the nrl as a whole though and the nrl maybe making it easier for them... for example a couple of seasons of good form should retain all their bandwagon supporters, and if they can replicate the end of last season this year with a strong comeback they are sure to boost ratings...

But I advise you to exercise rational thought and moderation before you crack out the tinfoil hat and start foaming at the mouth.

No, I'm not paranoid & capable of rational thought. If anything, you could make an argument that refs let a few 50/50s go because people like Ennis couldn't hold their tongue every chance they got to give it to the refs. Though as I said earlier, I didn't see many poor calls in the game, though I agree the Hannet/Hayne thing was a shocker, but not a game turner.

Just because the penalty count was in favor of the Eels doesn't mean the Dogs were hard done by; it just means the Eels were more disciplined.
