Parramatta have earmarked Blake Green as possibility to replace Brett Finch, here is a chance for the sharks to get some money freed up, as he is off contract end of year, no money there, but if we can get Parra to buy his contract out for remainder of year, this will free up some more cash.

He is no longer a option for the sharks so lets get some money now

mcgrady wont be ready for first grade for many years to come ive seen bigger halfbacks running around for the umina bunnies under 16s and matuia in the halves no thanks tony caine would play 5/8 id say if we needed but until then we need green playing for the sharks because we lack depth in the halves.

No chance. Green is a capable back up for our halves and hooker and for that reason alone we need to hang on to him.

There's options other than Green but they aren't first line and would be considered gambles.

Pumipi is miles ahead of McGrady in the NYC and Shane has a massive boot on him. Trouble with Rumpi Pumpi is that he has handling lapses often and is sus in defence. And he's the best of the NYC halves.

Caine, Matuia maybe even that Joudo kid could all fill in but they'd all count as Hail Mary selections IMO

Speaking of Caine, I wonder how long before we see him in top grade. Seems his only chance is if he replaces Seu Seu, because Sticky clearly rates Hughes.
