Anyone know whats going on with the Parra Cup im interestsd as a Parra junior before i left to play in Groups 14,11 and 9 im a Fairfield City junior also played with Fairfield RSL and Cabramatta hence the interest in the Parra Cup which i was able to follow thru the best footy mag ive ever read Rugby League Review the new ones out tomorrow and i cant wait

I played with Gilgandra in Group 14 from 1990-92,Captain Coached Warren 93-94 back to Gilgandra 95-99 then Dubbo Westside 2000 after playing 4 Nyngan 1985-88 and Junee part89 and again Nyngan part 89

the Parra Cup kickoffs next weekend.
Not sure of teams as yet though I know Seven Hills will now be competing as they are playing Guildford next Sunday at International Peace Park at 2pm.
Guildford should be a title contender this year and have retained Jim Beam Cup players Jason Small, Peter Bell and Paul Broadbent and Jim Beam Cup coach Darren Seymour.

The Parramatta Cup starts on 18 April. Asquith, Cabramatta and Wenty will be strong. Other teams are Guildford, Mounties, Hills District, Seven Hills and Warriors. The Warriors are defectors from Berala Bears with a few former Ryde Eastwood players.

I actually coached Murrays young bloke in the 16s a few years ago and used to love playing at Coonabarabran where i was actually man of the match in our 89 Grand Final win over the Unicorns
