Kelepi is a man against boys, and he looks good as a result. I still think he lacks the skills of some of the guys we are keeping over him. But people will overrate his performances in this grade
Kamikamcia takes a run and he is followed by Kelepi. Jeff Markus and Kamiamica centre the pill on the last two plays before the Eels rifle away a solid kick. Good set after points.
The Warriors are bunching up in the middle now but are still able to find some metres via a crafty run from their hooker. More metres for the Warriors as Lisone links up with his outside men but a great take from Lavaka gives the Eels possession. That was a nasty grubber and Lavaka did very well there.
Leva Li gets the Eels on the front foot. Maualua is up next and from there Markus and Matterson create some space or Goodall who goes on a testing run!
Matterson goes for the bomb on the last tackle and it is a towering kick. Lolohea does very well to come away with the ball!
What's this bullshit about 'is the travel catching up with the Warriors'? It's a 2hr flight FFS. peak hr from Manly to ANZ would take longer than that. Great turn around by the boys!
