I did some snooping over the weekend. He dropped off the shelf before the Flegg finals last year, didn’t play for Lebanon in the WC either. Then out of the blue appeared as a development player, which usually indicates that they had to throw more cash at him because rival clubs were after him. The results of my snooping ? Came up with nothing. Probably ACL or something similar.

My point is that he's repeated the same post, fishing for likes. Seriously if you want to make a post about juniors signed from Matts and Ball and Flegg who don't make it across every NRL club, it woukd be in the 1,000s. Hindy likes to frame it as ANOTHER fail. It's note worthy that he didn't say one positive thing about the players who got selected for C vs C last week.

Exactly. We are finally starting to spend money poaching juniors again. Most at every club won't make it, but the more you recruit the more gems you'll find. It's a numbers game.

We didn't have confirmation he was fit but not selected for final as he had been out injured we though. Not dropped.
I also had high hopes on him. I thought a 4yr contract for a 17yld must be something special.
Looks like he WONT even make NSW CUP.

Something special would be giving the 17 year old a development contract, or even top 30. Talagi is a year younger than Parry, and he is on a development contract. I think any contract that takes a kid through to the end of Jersey Flegg (21 years old) would be standard for half the kids in SG Ball. When Flegg was under 20s that was the age when the standard junior contract ended.
