Kudos to who ever scouted Ezra Leota from QLD he’s had a cracking season!
How are you at both games at once! You're amazing ! ;]8-6 Ball at halftime
Norths number 20 is huge!
6-8 Flegg 5 to go till halftime

Does anyone have a link or resource on how NRL pathways work? I’m curious as to how a club like ours does it compared to say the Roosters or Storm. Are Junior clubs the only way players get scouted or does it happen at school level as well?
Their best players are in reserve gradewhat the problem with the flegg team

The 6 for Matt's reminds me alot of Luai from the Panthers with his stepping all over the place..
Talagi, Arthur and TuivatiLike last year they'll also be waiting for a few players to come up once the SG Ball season finishes. But even their best players are playing Flegg, reserves and today first grade.

Matts or Ball? The SG Ball 6 Lorenzo Talataina is very light on his feet and quite strong for his size

It depends on the scale. Every club has got a first grade team doesn't mean every club's NRL side is as good as each other.I mean this is fine right but every other clubs doing the same so doesn't it kind of cancel itself out a little?
I would expect teams to prioritise Flegg vs NSW Cup differently. I would think it should be rare to be strong in both of those grades. To say our Flegg is poor cause we don't priotise or NSW cups weak cause we have Flegg guys playing.
Well it's not an excuse, it's a reason. Ultimately all that matters is the strength of your NRL side. Having strong pathways is just one way to get there. We won the club championship nearly every year under Brian Smith and it's not exactly a time of fond memories. It's true yes but every other club does the same so I don't see why it's used as am excuse.
We shouldn't judge it either after only three rounds. Key injuries and suspensions at the top can compound unavailable players in each given grade. You can't exactly say "well every team has injuries" as if they're all the same. Look at this comparison: https://www.nrl.com/news/2024/01/01/nrl-casualty-ward-latest-injury-news-return-dates-and-details/Ideally you want to be strong from the top down. That won't happen but you'd like to be in the top half atleast in every grade.
Our Ball team has a few players that I think will push up into Flegg this year they have a big group of forwards...
