Not sure in all honesty, didn’t want to ask too much. I’m sure a fair chunk of teams would’ve wanted the schoolboys 9. Ultimately even though they’re close with the Arthur’s, it would be silly to leave a team 5 minutes from home that he grew up supporting that have a glaring hole with Boods now gone. Its a great spot to be for a young hooker

Shoulder injury killed his confidence in defence and he never got back mentally whilst at Parra. He was the captain of the Northern Pride this year after spending 2 years at the Mackay Cutters. Only turning 25 next year and as we've seen recently that doesn't necessarily stop him from an NRL debut
