Agree, childrens names are a very good indication of how stupid the parents are, poor f**king kids.
You can always tell the bogan parents who go along with the latest bogan baby names too, the western suburbs kids often get the names like Tyson, Haze, Jaydon, Crystal, Kyle, Mohammad, Shane
The beaches kids get the Blakes and Drew's etc
Northern suburbs bet the Harry's, Louis, Alexander, Stella, james etc

There seems to be some collective thought going on in these areas.
Bahahahahaha :D

Interesting to see Jye Challenor is still with us. I thought he might have been moved on. Anyone know if he's been out injured?

Got to admire how the Penrith junior league is so much more pro active than the idiots in charge at Parra. My grandson just transferred into Penrith, has received a welcome email from the juniror league, an offer of 50% off on the first purchase of Panthers gear from their store. Also up to 5 tickets at $10 each to the remaining home games

I can tell you that under the current CEO , all the clubs get is more work for the volunteers and little interaction. No wonder junior regos are way down under this admin

How do junior regos benefit the club anyway? Most Eels fans never played junior footy at all, let alone for a club in the Eels junior league. As for junior rep teams, all the best players are recruited externally and play on contracts.

The NRL should be funding junior rugby league, not the clubs. Only those clubs with f**k all fans, like the Panthers, stand to gain from investing in kids' footy.

Pou, I don't believe you actually post s**t like this and mean it

It must be hell living in Melbourne or wherever and commenting on junior footy when you have little idea what goes on and why it's important

Go argue with the mirror

Why don't you tell us why it's so important then. Why are Melbourne and the Roosters struggling despite their strong junior leagues?

If the are no juniors , thre are no seniors

The 2 teams you mentioned do well as they have no locals, they are free to import those that live 50 km outside their home to live in club sponsored accommodation. This enables the club To monitor and teach them etc in house

However, we have started to supplement our juniors with similar arrangements. Despite your assertations that SK and RS implemented systems, they paid little real intertest and a certain football manager, for some reason he would not sign off on spending the funds to bring talented outsiders into boarding situations ($8k per player)

This has now been remedied under BA and Fieldsy, and we are complementing our own good juniors, and actually keeping them. Even GI recently recommended his nephew into our system as it is now recognised as one of the best .

Believe what you like, I don't really care, but unless you have been involved in local juniors and know what has gone on and is now in place, comments like yours are superfluous

Are you saying the club recognised how little return on investment they got from spending on local juniors and started poaching kids from outside the area for our rep teams?
