Knights threaten with a deep attacking bomb - there’s a bobble and the end up over the line but it’s rightfully ruled a knock on. Parra moving upfield and now receive a penalty to be on the attack.

Deon Haynes charges over the line but held up! Eels go left and Seuseu almost sets up a try but the Knights wingers makes a try saving play to knock the ball down. Eels scrum and on the attack again.

Lorima Seuseu!!!! He receives the ball straight from the scrum and he slices back inside and carries about 3 Knights players over the line for the try! Conversion by Martin successful.

Eels receive another penalty as they work their way up upfield and will once again have great field position.

Capovilla gets within a bees proverbial of scoring but alas the set comes to nothing as our shift back to the left breaks down. The young lads are showing some real physicality so far!

A penalty for a high tackle to the Knights now which will help them out of trouble.

And Newcastle hits right back as there big centre gets some early ball and is able to get on the outside of Lama then prove too strong for Martin in cover defence. Conversion from the sideline unsuccessful.

Oooooh big hit from Suaalii!!! Ah bugger Knights get a penalty late in the set and will back to attack our line.

But the Eels turn them away with Martin once again showing great calmness under the ball. We then get a penalty.. but Martin doesn’t find touch!!!!

Ouch and that mistake proves costly as Newy wastes no time adding to the scoreboard as their winger crosses down our right flank. Luckily the conversion from the sideline is again unsuccessful.

Bugger bugger bugger! Knights are in again right on half time as their centre makes miraculous play to force down a grubber just before the dead ball line - we needed the bunker on that one!! Conversion successful.

They scored 2 tries down our right so the coach swapped our centres and then they score on our left.....

We basically gave them all their tries by a bad tackle not kicking out on the full for a penalty and then a bad kick on the last..
