What a shocker by the Eels. It was like watching the Raiders but in yellow jerseys. Kicking game was shocking, handling errors everywhere and pathetic defnece.

Cowboys just grew in statue as the game wore on. Their 2nd half was the makings of a team that can win the Grand final.

Maybe wooden spooners but they still would've beat the eels team that played today. Any time of the year too. The Eels only hope for next year is to go back to the basics, start from the ground up and stick a $20 fine on anyone in the team who mentions Parramatta's finals efforts from 1997 to this year. It's mostly a psychological move, but I think it would work.

Parra choked big time, but at the very least they are a young team and will learn a lot from this match. You learn more from a loss than a win!

I'm sorry, but what's wrong with that???
Have you ever sat through a sudden death game where your team is playing, trailing by 22 points with 18 minutes to go and have no chance of getting back into it?? If you havn't let me please try and desrcribe to you what it feels like:
You feel like SH!T, like throwing up...your insides are churning and you don't know whether to burst out in tears or punch somebody. You just want to reverse the time and make it all start again so that MAYBE the second chance wll change things, make things better, but you know it's not going to happen and it makes you feel hollow inside.
I will admit that I was one of the supporters leaving with only 18 minutes to go but to indicate that it's because I'm not loyal is crap....I love my Eels and that is exactly why I couldn't sit through the final 20..... it just hurt too much.

Last time they choked was the 2001 GF and we all know what happened after that. However I feel it will be different given they still have most of their current players. I'm sure they can make the 8 again, and next year they probably will go one step further since they now have finals experience.
