Ferrier have made a lot of money from us in the last year... it may well be time max and his buddy step aside and let the rest of the board he chose take over

Also how much are we really paying them? Is Max really getting $500/h @ $40-60h/week? It seems unlikely to me.

Surely there are bigger reasons as to why we are running at a loss?

I'm sure if he was costing us that much, that Proszenko would've mentioned it in his article.

FFS I hate how these articles make out we (and other NRL clubs) are a basket case because they make a loss each year!! And can't survive without the leagues club cash.

Well weren't all these leagues clubs set up to support rugby league and the footy club? Isnt that what they are doing?

Not sure how much you think is a lot of money but in 2016 the Administrators (Ferriers) were paid a total of $325k. That was when Max and Co had a lot more work to do than they have this year.

You do realise that they don't work full-time right?

I'm quite dubious about the $10m loss idea.

Take 2016 for example, where 'football related costs' ($9mil ish), legal fees ($1.7m) and NRL fine (0.75m) and player terminations were said to impose a cost of $12m. But....buried in the revenues of the PLC is the NRL distribution of $8m, sponsors of $4m and gate of $3m. It isn't clear how this all gets netted off.
