You know what sucks is Parra supporters who are ready to ditch our team. Would not want to fight in the trenches with weak little bitches like some people on here. Grow some balls and move on.

:clap::clap:

or actually turn up to an AGM and voice your concerns...

us members better be getting an email from ossie actually explaining why they made this decision, this kind of transparency and openness that he has taken with the members so far this year is now more important than ever

Agree with that sentiment. Gould said the same thing too which was a different point of view from his first reaction which made me led to believe there is more going on we don't know about.

For the ones saying they will stop supporting the club now.....don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out.

It won't that's for sure...Just watch your backs and your wallets if you stick with a ship full of rats, a ship full of leaks, and people with very little knowledge of how to run a football Club.
I love the style of Jarryd Hayne, Hindy, Fui Fui, Ben Smith and look forward to Daniel Mortimer fulfilling his promise before he too gets off and goes to the Bulldogs.
I prefer to get out of the joint with my self respect before the Club strips it from us. The Parramatta Club has become a laughing stock...and I am very very disappointed.

Well, f**k them. Horrendous decision, horrendously handled, by a group of horrendously incompetent men. I hope that, when they are gone very soon, Anderson wants to come back and show what he can really do with this club. Absolutely pitiful and I'll have nothing to do with the club other than supporting the footy side on TV. How do they expect to sign anyone with the threat of a knife in the back ever present? FFS, what useless, incompetent pack of lunatics...

I don't agree with the way things have been done, but a real Eels supporter would wish the spoon on the blokes that pull on that jumper week in week out. Nor would a real Eels supporter turn away from the team because of some sh*tty administration....

In the end those blokes will get what they deserver (even if it takes 26 years lolololol)

When the club rings or emails me asking to become a member for 2011 I will explain my reasoning for a definate no. Never before have I been ashamed more to be a Parramatta supporter as much as I am today.

FFS, you are starting to sound like a broken record.

Where does the sh*t end now. If the new coach fails is he punted after a year or 2???????

My son's local footy club is run better than this disgrace of a club.

3P piss poor performance.

Ask him... I'm sure his PA will be happy to send you a generic reply.

A more blunt version......do something about it instead of whinging.

I totally agree. It's becoming like A Current Affair or Today Tonight were they run a segment on what supermarkets do and we all buy the argument without knowing the facts.

Support your club people otherwise go support another team and jump on their band wagon

Im not happy with this decision, or the way it has been played out in the media. Love the line the board had to act 48hrs earlier due to a "leak" to the media.. They still havent plugged that hole huh? But we still hold the power people. Every voting member needs to do their best to get to AGM this year and vote these "jobs for the boys" blokes out! No one can be worse then them. I am ashamed at the fact that I helped vote them in.

Parramatta Eels Statement

THE Pirtek Parramatta Eels Board of Directors held an extraordinary board meeting tonight to discuss the NRL team coaching position and has decided to terminate the final year of Daniel Anderson’s contract.

“At the conclusion of the Eels’ 2010 NRL season, a committee was appointed to review the performance of the team, and the Club as a business unit. This comprised of current Directors Glenn Duncan and Geoff Gerard and CEO Paul Osborne,” said Chairman Roy Spagnolo.

“After a strategic review into the football operations and team performance, the board determined that the team did not make the progress this year that it should have and, moving forward on that basis, the board felt the club would be best served with a new coach.

“As a board we have a responsibility to our Members to follow due process and have the courage to make tough decisions when necessary. This is one of those very tough decisions but we feel it is the right one, considering the best interests of the club’s long-term development.

“The board would like to thank Daniel for his dedicated and wholehearted efforts with the team in the past two seasons. We wish him well in the future.”

The board will immediately look to secure a successor in the coaching position.
