Nice photo of the top end of town.My hobby is Australian history, but trying to get today's youngin's interested is harder than us winning a premiership.
Remember going to Parra pool in the 60's. Used to go to the old Roxy theatre to watch the movies. And my parents used to take us to Parra Leagues club (for dinner) were in the foyer, they had an illuminated world map were it showed day and night around the world in real time. Many happy memories, hence my soft spot for the Eels.

I’m fairly confident he was hoping someone would ask him how he knows what it looks like from the inside so he could tell us that.

There's a gap in the back fencing near the river park area.
Only went to take a peak from the outside but noticed the place was almost deserted. -Weekend

Jumped in, 30m jog into the stadium. I couldn't help myself. But it was well worth the opportunity.

It looks much closer and steeper than the pics seem. I was undoubtedly blown away very exiting ! Anz stadium feels so open and void. This Stadium is virtually on top of the pitch and higher/larger than you would think

Went to Parra pool and the Roxy plenty of times, though I rarely went to Parra Leagues. It's just how it happened at the time based on where my circle of friends hung out.

Nice shot of the stadium with the city behind.
Can see the new towers rising in Parramatta Square and beside the river opposite the new Meriton Towers.
Click on pic for full size image.

Why don’t the eels have videos of construction for their members & fans? Are we not joint major tenants? Seems ridiculous the Wanderers seem to have so much extra vision/photos.

And agree the closeness of those stairs is ridiculous, could have taken every second set out and still had enough and added a few hundred to the capacity
