He seems very short fused with me also. Disagrees with all my opinions.

Meant to say "small man syndrome". I have absolutely no idea about the size of Gronk's appendage, but I'm betting his car seat would be set fully forward.

Thanks mate.

My seats are at the very rear of the lower bowl. Just curious on the view.
Back row bottom tier
Great seats.
That’s where I’m located, pretty much half way.
Just hope nobody standing behind rail on concourse doesn’t spill beer over us

Hey @amitropo can you take a photo of my view if I were 10 drinks deep, we were playing Canberra, it’s like 2 degrees, we’re already down 18-nil half hour into 1st half, starting to look promising though and Will Smith has kicked it out on the full from our 40m? Thanks

18-0 down after 30 minutes? So we're doing better than we normally do in Canberra then

Merkins, does anyone know how the Wanderers active areas will work ?

Do they install the same seats, attach special seats or remove the seats entirely?

Two bays of the current seats will be completely removed for Wanderers games and European rail type safe standing seats will be bolted in.
German and English clubs have safe standing rail seats in many of thier stadiums.
There's been talk that the Wanderers will have a higher fan capacity due to the safe standing areas

This is how it will work.
Rail seating will be installed in those bays in your pic - 2 bays I believe.
They will be similar to the following two pics.

Seats are locked into an upright position for safe standing at Wanderers games, and then locked back down into seating mode for Eels games (unless of course the Eels want a section of safe standing as well).

As for the claim that capacity will be greater at Wanderers games than Eels, that's just plain wrong.
Despite the ability of safe standing to have a much higher capacity, the tickets will still be sold as one seat/1 ticket, as in the picture above.

Places like Germany though, allow for 1.5 - 2.4 people per seat, thus increasing capacity considerably. It can be seen in the above photo that in safe standing mode, there is plenty of room for extra spectators.

Borussia Dortmund's Signal Iduna Park/Westfalonstadiun has the largest safe standing section in Europe. Capacity of that safe standing area is about 25000, and then reduces to about 10000 for FIFA and UEFA sanctioned matches when the seats have to be locked into position.
Capacity with safe standing is 81359. In seated mode it reduces to 66099.

It is perfectly possible that Bankwest's safe standing section could be sold on a two people per seat basis which could easily increase capacity. Will never happen in this country though. The PC brigade will see to that.

Celtic safe standing section.....

Wrong. There are three bays. This is the seating plan for the Leeds match in July.

There is also a BBQ Deck package sold for this match. :cocktail: :tropical_drink:

“BBQ Deck Package includes Category B ticket, Exclusive access to South West BBQ Terrace, BBQ and Cocktail food included 1 hour pre-game and 30 minutes post (Beverages NOT included)”

WSW must be wandering when theyl win.
I supported Perth Glory but the A league standard is just at a level where its very hard to watch. It seems to be regressing rapdily.
The peak was when Brisbane had Posta coaching. I thought if every team got to that level it be ok but its declined.
