I drive over the Anzac Bridge a few times a week and have seen this getting built from day 1.
Impressive looking building. I do wonder what the parking situation is going to be like there.

Has there been any word about what is going to happen to the old fish market site? I'm assuming apartment blocks.

We must live close by.

I see one of your locals the Sackville hotel copped it from the courts for serving Kenty too many drinks that night he hit the tree haha.

All the staff have had to be retrained.

I imagine the RSA is going to be overboard in that joint for the next little while

I dont know about everyone else but those designs and backgrounds of the city with having travelled to 28 other countries and at least 40+ cities.

Reinforce how lucky we are to be in the most beautiful city in the world its spectacular.

Sydney still shits on everything and everywhere I have been and I enjoy travelling seeing new places.

I so completely agree.
I've been to over 40 countries (including Russia). There has been some amazing places I have visited that have blown my mind away.
Yet, just last Sunday I went to the Watson's Bay Hotel for lunch with some Poms and Irish people I know. Some were visitors, and some were permanent residents. I caught the metro in from the Hills and met them at Circular Quay. We then caught the ferry to Watson's Bay and had a long lunch. The visitors were just blown away at how beautiful Sydney is, and the PR's have been here for almost 10 years and they are still in awe, even though they live here.
The PR's have absolutely no intention of returning to the UK.
When I asked them why, their reply was "Why would we? Just look at this."
This was when we were having lunch and looking over Sydney Harbour.
I was equally in awe at how beautiful it was.

I was in the Sackville last week for the Super Bowl.
Actually SB day is pretty much the only time I go to the Sackville. There are way more pubs around here better than that place.

Residents here are trying to get the council to put a plaque next to the tree to honour Kenty.

Probably. I’ve been an inner westie for almost 10 years now. Worked in Annandale for 5 years before I even moved out here.

I know Fat Fish very well.

I rather the local fish and chip shop in Stanmore. Fat fish is great but a bit fancy and expensive. And parkings a nightmare at Annandale. The witches houses are cool though

Haven't been there.
I don't actually eat fish. Had a burger from FF though and it was good. I usually would go to Booth St Bakery. They have great pies and Banh Mi sandwiches.

I worked on Johnston St for 11 years and apart from maybe 10 times, I never had a problem finding parking on the street. All day parking as well. Around the small shopping villiage is tricky, but you only need to go 50-100m down the road and walk up.

Some absolutely beautiful houses in Annandale. I've been in a lot of them and some are just spectacular. Big blocks of land with beautiful old houses.

No one is staring at their phone.
No bin chooks

Its to do with the walkways. Notice the cyclists are dismounted.

I dont know if its the same down there but up here not only do they not dismount but they hurl by on their ebikes at about 30 or 40ks and people have to get out of their way or get hit. There ar so many accidents its getting ridiculous and pepple are getting hurt and carted off to A & E at the nearest hospital.

That skinny little path wont alow them to pass one another, assuming the artist's impression is to sale.
