Exactly. You only have to go back to some of the Crowe related threads of the last few months to see that fans of a lot of clubs can recognize the contributions Russell is making to the game as a whole.
I have never,ever heard of any supporter of any club(except Pawa) who doesn't think that Fitzgerald is nothing but a sh*t-stain on the game.

Unlike us, we are forever doing what we can to ensure that the opposition team has the run of the stadium.

And you know why?

Because we care about the game itself. We consider that the fans deserve to see both of the teams at their best. And thats the difference.

And its a difference we see here in LU too.

While their confused admins and power crazed rogue mods do everything they can to silence us over at Parramatta LU, we do everything we can to ensure that all of the posters have a forum and a fair go.

And our support is friendly and positive. Mob from the Panthers for example. Yet may of the the people who get onto their forum do so to be unkind. They are tools of the highest order. They dwell on hatred and disorder, they are only happy when it rains.

a) One supports Souths.

Parramatta have Fitgerald. Who is the Souths CEO at the moment. Who is passing through that job right now because I honestly can't keep track! I'll take Fitzy. I don't mind at all. he says a lot of sh*t but he has never sold the club out & I think he does it more often than not just to get a bite. Which he does.

At the end of the day. Parramatta are still the Eels & we still play Rugby League & we are competitive under the cap with a strong junior base & massive supporter base. Are Souths not chasing players the Eels have developed? Fitzgeralds structures have put us in that position. So I don't mind at all that we have him!

As far as not looking after past greats, some of these blokes are the 1st to give it to an Eels player when he has a bad game. Brett Kenny rights off just about every bloke named in the 6 before he's even taken the field & Price thinks that anyone not as good as himself is lazy! These blokes were not just Eels greats but amoung the greats of the game. Every club has these blokes, amoung the best to lace a boot yet on the outer, & in every case these blokes have played a part in putting themselves there. They could be more gracious in retirment than they are too. It's not all Fitzgerald. It is partly, but not completely.
