I can't see Graham being re-signed he is too much of a DUD. With the likes of Inu and Hayne, Farrar, Davis coming through why would we waste our Salary cap money on him?? He had his last chances 2 years ago.

Actually Ash made 2 great tackles last week, one when they had the overlap, he showed great speed to get the guy and then he actually smashed him from behind and the guy passed to Morrison by mistake, the second great tackle was another sort of break that he stopped again.

I even said to my mate "wow, Graham looks to have learned how to tackle"

If Ash has learnt to defend he could be a potential superstar.

Unfortunately it cannot be the odd tackle it needs to be consistantly good.

If so though he will be the best 5/8 option we have.

before anyone speaks to soon about Ash, he was quite effective in attack in the 40 minutes he was on the field last week and seems to have also picked up some lost pace over the weekend...he's definitely not a spent force yet.

Sorry Eela, but Ash sucks arse.

You have got to be joking.......a potential superstar????
Maybe best 5/8th option we have??

Just my opinion but you couldn't be further from the truth.

that's probably not as stupid as it sounds, he's got quite handy ball skills, I just don't think Smithy's looking at him at five-eight.

I actually reckon Burt is better then Ash.

Pre-2003 I would have disagreed. I think he can be more than a solid first grader now but I find it unlikely to happen at the Eels.

well it remains to be seen guys, I'm not expecting him to set the world on fire, but at the same time I do believe that he'll have a better season than last year, which wouldn't be difficult.
