When I started this thread I was hoping to bring some good news to the long suffering Parra supporters. Praise the boys, guys; they have been underdogs in every game in the semi-finals series and should only receive positive comments; leave the negatives to your other threads.

So to all the young men in the squad - well done throughout all games, Hopefully, the Parramatta club will provide you with some sort of recognition - HM premiership jacket, dinner etc.

M.E., no he coaches his own sons now. We have our season launch tonight so should be a good evening, like most young men when he stopped playing he lost a fair bit of interest.

All good now, back into coaching, actually approx 6 of the team he played with are now coaching and involved in the junior league, all in Hills area. Good bunch of blokes too.


Most of the team have been very successful in their careers, think the discipline and hard work they did between 14 and 18 really paid off

So good luch in the future to the Matts boys

I know what you mean about the discipline and hard work. A lady I work with has one son playing Matts and another playing sg. One for the dragons and the other for the dogs. She said it keeps them out of trouble. Her husband is Willie Masons cousin. She said he is always very encouraging to her boys.

They'll be playing Souths-Logan Magpies who beat Townsville Stingers today 10-6

I'm sure all the long suffering Parra supporters will wish their HM squad all the best, when they take on Souths-Logan Magpies for the national title of best U16s district side this Saturday in Brisbane.

The boys fly out Friday night.
