i thought the same thing. Parra fans are such epic bandwagoners, it does my head in. the majority of them only come out when they're doing well.

and my bestie is a Parra fan who goes to EVERY game and she hates the bandwagoners too. jeez at the end of last yr u woulda thought half of Sydney were Eels fans, but now?? deadset there was about 4 of them on the hill.

pathetic.

The two matches at the back end of 2009 at Kogarah were both live on FTA, your fans and the media were screaming for the game to be moved to ANZ so you could go. Epic f**king lol that you can barely get more than a handful.

Epic f**king lol?

The joke's on the Parra fans that went to the game last night. Likewise the fans who went to round 26 last year. The real winners are the ones who went to the final because they went home happy.

Speaking of going home happy, the last Parra match I went to was the win against the Bulldogs in the 2007 finals. Haven't been to a game since.

My exact point mate, that's bandwagon stuff.

Get f**ked.

Between 1991 and July 2000 I went to every home game and most away games.

But I'm a grownup now. I watch every game I can on telly and waste some of my study breaks here talking sh*t with you reprobates.

I care when we win and I care when we lose, just not as much as I used to.

Credit to you for at least admitting you preferred to stay home and not make up some other excuse.

Why would I make up an excuse? The view's much better on TV, and I love spending time at home. Kudos to the diehards, and I sometimes miss the atmosphere at games, but right now I have more reason to stay home than to go to games. When I have kids I'll probably take them to games like my dad used to take me.

As Timmah has pointed out, the Dogs and Saints at Kogarah is normally electric, last year Saints / Parra was the exact same twice.

Last year both Parra games were at the business end of the season and we had some momentum. Of course we got big crowds.

We never play well this time of year, which is why it should come as no surprise that there were so few fans at an away game against the league leaders.

Have a f**king cry mate.

The St George club f**ked Parra fans over last year for the finals. They deserve a small crowd.

The Parra fans will be back later in the season when our team starts firing. I might even go to a match.

That's all you needed to say. The rest of the crap you posted is because you got upset and defensive about being called a bandwagon fan - which you have admitted to. I wouldn't use the word supporter to describe you.

I didn't need to say anything.

Oh I agree I'm a bandwagon fan, I just don't see why it matters.

which you have admitted to. I wouldn't use the word supporter to describe you.

Yeah I know, I'm Not A True Fan. Gosh I hope President Obama doesn't send the CIA after me!

If you don't get your tickets a month in advance the alternative seating which is usually behind the posts is awful.
An appalling excuse.
We never play well at Kogarah either. Why go all that way to watch your team get flogged when you can stay home and just change the channel when it's over?

Live, free-to-air baby. It's a crowd killer.
Another appalling excuse.

Didn't stop certain opposition supporters whinging last year about not being able to get into a packed Kogarah - you included.

Some were demanding that the game be moved a neutral venue at late notice, just so more of you bandwagoners could get in.

You lose a few games, and you can't even get out of bed. Pathetic.
I, for one made the trip out to kogarah and needless to say, i was fairly disappointed at the lack of parra fans who didnt show up. Being the Saints first Kogarah game this year, i expected alot of saints fans to show up, which they did, and boy were they loud!
Well done, and same to those few Parra supporters that showed up. At least some of you still know how to support your team.

Yep.

Excellent flight down, beaut night at Kogarah.

Flew back today.

Spent the afternoon keeping Rexxy out of trouble but gave up in the end. Last time I saw him he was looking for trouble at something called the Broadbeach Blues Festival.

I gave him SerbDragon's phone number.

Given Serb has been on here monight I am not sure that would have helped. Sorry I missed out on having a beer with you (though my liver thanks me!).

I think it's a great excuse, and the result justified every Parra fan that didn't go.

Yeah well I'm a league fan - I'll whinge about anything.

And the joke was on your club - you could've switched the game to Homebush, still got belted, and made a whole bunch more money.

You lose a few games, and you can't even get out of bed. Pathetic.

I told you mate - we're usually pretty ordinary this time of year. We call it the boring and pointless part of the season. Give us a call in a couple of months and see what our crowds are like.

Here's the thing you Dragons fans don't understand - Parra fans are totally over the dull grind of the regular season. Twice in the past decade we've won the Minor Premiership ('01 and '05) and we have no Premierships to show for it. Instead we were beaten by teams who were fairly ordinary throughout the year but switched on at the right end of the season.

So we're all about the finals these days, and our last 3 goes at the finals were thwarted by the Melbourne Cheats.

We're really just waiting for September. See you then.

I met _Snafu_ and Awynner which was great. Big pat of course. Many thanks to drivers gorilla and Rexxy for the lift.

Sorry, we're going off topic. I might be hijacking Poupou's hijack.

Poupou,

f**k off back to your tiggers forum. Your coach is sh*t. Your team is sh*t. They only win on flat tracks. Let's see what happens on 25 June. Though given what Souths did to you, don't bother turning up you Muppet.

Oh right, so it was some sort of protest for not being allowed to play at Parra's second home in Homebush with five days notice in 2009. It's all a conspiracy!

Sorry, we're going off topic. I might be hijacking Poupou's hijack.

Met Big Pat for the first time against the Dogs - an absolute gentleman.

Should have fixed the hijack with the last post. Auto censor got in the way though - can we fix that?
