Hi all,
Something to brighten the mood hopefully. Parras newest fan was born at 6pm Friday night and together we were able to watch the Parra game together at 9.30pm QLD time. Although Parra lost what was an unlosable game at one stage, was the first time my perspective changed somewhat. It's just a game, it's meant to be fun and it's not the end of the world if we lose.
I sat back after the game thinking wow, within the first 3 hours of my sons life, I was able to sit back with him in my arms and watch the Blue and Gold. We lost the game but the memory will stay with me forever.
Behind the story is a small miracle that if he was born when he was originally due 14 hours later, he would not be here at the moment.
Remember to enjoy the reason we love the Eels, it's way more exciting focusing on the reason we love the Blue and Gold, and it's something I don't believe other fans of other clubs will ever understand. B&G forever.
Little pic for you all to enjoy.
