i posted this in another thread, but i played with a guy named patty o'hanlon in the mackay A grade comp when he was 16/17. the kid loved wacking blokes and was all class in attack. i spoke to me mate who now does recruitment at the storm and he reckons patty might be falling out of favour at the club, due to a string of injuries. i watched him play last yr a fair bit in TYC and premier league and he was still a class act. i can't see why he would be on the outer. but there'd be plenty of clubs willing to get his signature i'd reckon. but from how i knew patty he was a very laid back character, and something like this may not make him wanna have the drive to succeed but instead just go off with his mates and work somewhere. i hope for his sake theres no truth in this

I posted this in another thread:

Everyone here has heard of him and rates him highly. He's widely considered to be one of our best young forwards.

But if his attitude's not 100% Kearney might not want him. Injury's a good time to see what blokes are made of and if he's not dedicated to his recovery he probably would be on the outer.

All this because you had you had a conversation with a bloke who does recruitment work at the STORM (as opposed to the Eels) who said he MIGHT be on the outer because he's had some injuries lately... and all of a sudden you're claiming this is a rumour. Are you Boxhead's younger brother????? Be honest.

no doubt, the same probably applied to Kyle at Penrith.

Yeah. Penrith poor the last 2 years. The new coach wants players with the right attitude. He wasn't the only one but he was probably the most talented to get the chop. Mahoney came back to you guys with him
