Nope. This is his 2nd contract with the club and it ends at the end of next season or the season after.. I know it was a two year extension on his old one which I forget was either two or three years :?

I disagree mate I think he has been playing ok. As I said in another post its hard to show your wares when your playing in a PL side which is playing ordinary footy. The few games I've seen him play he's be trying things with his wingers but they haven't been coming off and you can see how frustrated he is getting. If he had Reick out side him alot of what he was trying would have come off.
IMO he is more of First grade standard than Goldie.

Franze is class, my favourite player from the sharks...if things dont work out here for him he's always welcome at parra ;-)

Have'nt seen Franze yet but was a favourite of mine last year before the injury. I would love to see him in the centres with Nige and then we could get rid of McGoldrick.

I have alot of time for Franze based on his 2002/early 2003 performances. He didnt seemed to be given the fair go that others such as Simmons and McGoldrick have been given. I hope he gets a run in firsts sooner rather than later or the club could lose him. He is still young and has plenty to offer IMO and i just hope it is with the sharks.

he has had a cloud over him. I too would like to see him over mcgoldy, maybe tonight goldy will show us what hes made of.

Goldy was one of the worst signings ever. Even in union he only played a handful of games as they realised he was useless. However, in his last top grade match he played ok and actually scored a try whihc set the platform for a win over the Raiders. I dont know how he's been going in PL but hopefully good, tonight will test if hes 1st grade material or not. As for Franze, I think he still needs more time in PL but in time (hopefully sooner rather than later) he will hit into some good form again
