Unfortunately Mjab, there are so many people like Paul who are so secretive, even being close to them, that you wouldn’t know that they were even thinking of taking that step. Asking for help that doesn’t happen because they already made their mind up to go through with it, a time and place that suits them. Mental Health in our society is so huge, there not enough support or money to help. So sad.Very sad , a shame he couldnt have just put his hand up for support as happens all too often, they clearly arent thinking clearly at the time time to do that to their family. Hopefully it has raised more awareness for mental health and been more discussion in the media this week as a result
Yes, even the people closest to him may not have been aware of his mental state leading up to his taking of his life. They might have seen him over a good period being emotionally down in the dumps because of his coaching dilemmas and would put it down to normal behaviour and that he would get over it, but didn't.Unfortunately Mjab, there are so many people like Paul who are so secretive, even being close to them, that you wouldn’t know that they were even thinking of taking that step.
