The video shows the other guy not wanting it and Kent initiating the physical fight.
I’m not defending his stupidity.

The law works in mysterious ways.

Im simply pointing out there will be case law, lots of legal arguments and what may seem like a done deal, convicted in the court of public opinion, just may not pan out that way.

Presumption of innocence go figure.

Yes everyone is innocent until proven guilty in court and so it should be but I don't like his chances when he's caught in high definition attacking someone.

Personally, I don’t care, the bloke is a boof head for getting himself into the position he did, so soon after his being found not guilty of DV matters.

I’m not excusing him, I’m just not one to pass judgement regardless on what apparently is disclosed on CCTV.

The Fall of Minneapolis is a recent documentary surrounding the death of George Floyd which led to the BLM movement and subsequent convictions of four Police Officers one of whom is now incarcerated for life in prison. The whole world watched in horror at the CCTV footage. Sadly, if you watch the documentary with an impartial mind all may not have been as it seemed and sometimes the footage you see does not always tell the ‘whole’ picture. The documentary is free and readily available on you tube. It is rather sad.

I digress, I know, but being convicted in the court of public opinion is very dangerous particularly in the woke and cancel culture world which prevails today.

I'm under no obligation to think he's innocent until proven guilty. The judicial process and my personal opinion are two different things.

Each to there own but mid 50s and out drunk after midnight. Should be home in bed after a nice pot of tea.
A recent case in the UK, in Manchester if I recall correctly, had CCTV of an offender assaulting, overpowering a police officer, urinating on him (or her) but was acquitted because he was not of guilty mind, even thou drunkenness is not a valid defence. I’m not sure what time the alleged offence occurred or the age of the alleged offender but there you go. I guess its Just the world we live in now.
