I don't understand the rush.

I think the club needs to make a decision within the next couple of months - for reasons of certainty and planning.

But Mary cannot come into those calculations, he's not fit for head coach. The fact that no other club would go near the bloke is testament to his qualifications. Why should the Dragons always settle for the worst available option? I simply can't fathom it.

Unfortunately, Cleary is off the table. Even so, the board should be leaving no stone unturned in tracking a new direction.

After 4 rounds what a joke 2 years ago was signed after anzac roosters game .The club again will not ever look outside the club for a new coach didnt even approach hasler or cleary. We will win a few then lose all year and not make the 8 with same old coaching structure.

Wrong.
If he started winning finals games as a coach then I'd probably start to back off....proof so far suggests that is unlikely to happen.
There should no rush whatsoever in making a decision just yet, other options should still be looked at regardless.

I think what will happen is McGregor may end up with a contract the team may go ok this year but he will fail next year due to his inability to adapt to different styles of play
Last year we tried to defend our way to the finals
This year we are playing a power game through the forwards
How long will it take before opposition teams work out that this is our only play
We have nothing else
Next year we will play the same and fail j

its not because of the team
Why I said it is because of McGregor do you want him for another 2-3 years
We have won a few games and everybody loves Mary
We have yet to test ourselves against top sides like Melbourne and Brisbane so interesting times ahead
I still don't want him as coach
Maybe I am alone on this one

Well the daily telegraph has just posted that Mary will have an extension by rd 12..if we keep winning and make semis it would stupid as a club to sack him..I seem to think a lot of people on this forum don't like him no matter what he does..he could win a gf and we still will see a sack mcgregor post..judge him on his success not personality..also think of the team he inherited when he took over from Steven price it was crap

Have a look at his win/loss ratio
I won't even be 50 percent is that successful enough for you
As that ratio won't even get you to eighth spot so people have every right to demand change And I certainly want it and that's not judging the person but I am judging him on his track record which is not much better than Jason taylors
