I literally watched the last fast n furious a week ago, feels a bit surreal that he has passed away now.
RIP Paul.

Seems like a few celebs have died in a Porsche, if the crash doesn't kill you the fire will.

And they recently signed on to do 2 more movies. I guess they just kill off the character somehow. Surely they can't put a different actor in as his character, wouldn't feel right.

Up to 9 is already pretty much set in stone, they'd have to kill Brian off screen between the seventh and eighth movie.

There is talk that the seventh was already finished as a part of the last one and split into two movies.

Youd think that theyd kill him off somehow, as parra pride said putting someone else in the role now wouldnt be right

Mia's presence in Furious 6 was heavily reduced as the series seemed to focus more on The Rock and Vin Diesel. I think (or at least hope) that for the future movies in the franchise, they don't kill him off, but make it as if Brian and Mia are now living with their family in LA somewhere and aren't involved in the criminal takedowns anymore. That's what I hope.

My favourite scene with him in the fast and the furious series:

He will be missed.
That was a touching moment as well, because Dominic's team was being torn apart - Jesse was killed, Vince was in critical condition and Brian revealed he was a cop, and instead of hauling him into the station, he helped him out of the wreckage of the charger, and gave him the 10 second car he owned him, and let him disappear.

So sad to see all those RIP comments in the comments section.

Probably the most touching Paul Walker scene in his entire movie career (in my opinion anyway):

I hope they don't kill off the character in F&F. Just write him off into the sunset somehow.

I honestly don't think you can at this point. He and Dom are family, if Dom is in trouble, Brian is the first one there to help. And let's be honest, Dom is going to find himself in some sort of trouble to set up the stories for the next three movies, this isn't a problem for Fast 7 since it's apparently finished filming, but it will be for eight and nine. Now, if this we were coming off the back of 2 Fast 2 Furious, or Tokyo Drift, I think you could write him out without an off screen death.

The directors have an ace up their sleeve though. In Furious 6, Dom was very reluctant to let Brian go with him because he has a family now, and in the opening sequence, he said "Once you go through those doors, everything changes, our old life is gone forever" in reference to him becoming a father, so that could work in their favor.

However, on the negative side, they have not finished filming entirely yet. In January they return to Abu Dhabi to finish filming. Then the post-production can begin.
