Pay structures...

Hi All,

Some info here would be a great help.

What are the pay structures / rates for these comps....

1. Jim Beam Cup

2. QLD Cup

3. Comps such as the Newcastle or Central Coast...

Are they match payments, contracts, offers of employment etc etc....

This is just out of interest, so any info would be great...

It depends on each club. Some pay match payments, Incentive based pay, or some clubs arrange employment, cars, houses or in the Yass Magpies case they paid the reserve grade side in Scooners which ended up costing them a fair bit as they nearly made the Grandfinal :lol:
I have also known clubs in Canberra especially to pay large sign on payments. One player i know got $5000 up front and then recieved $500 a week win loose or draw in cash. This same player was offered less to play reserve grade for the Raiders and would have to miss 2 days of work a week to train.
