Haas, F Molo, De Belin, and M Molo, what a great prop rotation that would make. Haas wants out of this contract with the Broncos which ends in 2024 and is reported to be worth 800k p/a. So let's sign two forwards for 2023; David Fifita and Payne Haas. What a pack that would be!

8. F Molo
9. Hunt
10. Hass
11. D Fifita
12. Su'A
13. Amone

14. Mbye
15. De Belin
16. M Molo
17. Burns

Putting together your ultimate SGI forward pack and you have Amone at 13?
Good times.

Take a look at our current line-up full of cheapies:
Ramsey
Feagai
Amone
Woods
Burgess
Lawrie

Sims is going 800k
If Bird goes 550k
This alone is 1.35m

With some of our other non-[erfpr,ers pm their way and with cap increase, it should not be too hard to get there.

However, if need be let Dan Hunt go to the Dolphins and let Sullivan go to 7.

Yeah definitely need to let Dan Hunt go. He's 36 this year and we can't keep propping up those old boys. He hasn't even made the reggies this year.

possm, Bird has re-signed with us for 2 more years. Dan Hunt left us years ago. Best you double check things before you post. I know you meant Ben Hunt.

Yes, we do have plenty of cheapies. It's what the club has decided to go for so that our cap is managed to enable us to rebuild with the young ones and the experienced ones.

I'm not a big fan of Haas. Yes he is big and strong and takes a few guys to bring him down but he somehow just doesn't fit my idea of a great front rower to spend a fortune on and restrict us from keeping players wanted to be kept and buying others who we see will be worthwhile for the rebuild without blowing the budget.

The facts as I heard them on the radio (Triple M)) a short while ago....
* Haas is signed until 2024.
* His current contract is for 750k in 2022, 850k in 2023, 950k in 2024.
* Haas is unhappy with this and has still asked for a release.
* Broncos have discussed an extension to 2027 with an adjustment that will see his contract average out at 1mil over the term from now till 2027.
* This negotiation offer was made before his request release.
There is no way Haas will come to the Dragons for anything that isn't over 1.1mil and for a prop, its not worth that much of our cap.
