Remember McGoldrick kicking to touch last year when Noddy was out? He was making massive metres...heaps more than Kimmorley could achieve. If a Premier League centre can kick further than the Australian halfback, you know that something's going wrong.
Hey, let's start a bring back Goldy campaign  -- Pogo and Sutho, I can sign you up as the first two on the list can't I? ;-) ;-)

Having not seeing a replay, can someone explain why Stevo was penalised for an incorrect play the ball when we were attacking about 15 mtrs out when the ball was placed on the ground and did touch his foot correctly. Just because he wasn't standing up fully when the ball was played.

WORST CALL EVER.

Probably was but technically it was correct. The problem I see with it is it is done the same way 50 times a game and only gets penalised at a whim.

It's really simple. You can NOT put the ball on the ground till you are on your feet, you can't lean on the ball as a method of getting up - that's what makes the ruling correct. However FFS, as I said, we'll see it another 50 times per game from now till fulltime in the GF

Needs to be changed. Stupid Rule for this day and age.

Yeah OK. Can he play fullback in place of Peachey?

Good question spirit
It's a joke
But who would stand up to Kimmorley? Except maybe Bennett or Sheens?
FFS, put him in his place. The contrast between touch kicks was one of the most infuriating parts of the game...trailing Kimmorley's 1 dimensional inside ball attack.

Time for a new coach.

I was thinking exactly the same thing last night

Why the hell can't covell kick for touch. Or even the "Golden Boy" he did used to play soccer didn't he?

Hell I'd let Stevens kick for touch ahead of Kimmorley.
