don't disagree, but Wade's already got too much responsibility trying to make last ditch tackles and catching towering bombs as it is
but perhaps, poor Wags may need a break from it and be allowed to go back to lock and play his best football consistently, without worrying about 5/8 duties
it should be someone who can and does lead on the field through actions and may need that extra responsibility to take that extra step......that is basically what happened with Cayless, even though he was very young to get the captaincy
someone like John Morris or even Michael Witt could be given the job, it might restore some confidence in their game to know the club and their coach and teammates have such faith in them
but when fit.....its hands down Nathan Cayless
