What does everyone think would be the full strength line-up for Premier League this year?

Where do you think they will finish?

How do you think the other grades will go?

Who will be the key players in each side?

Here is a possible Premier League line up. I have based it on the Nrl squad having an 18-man squad that I have also listed for reference.

Tell me your thoughts.

Penrith St Marys Cougars:
1. Brett Howland
2. Lee Hookey
3. Bob Blair
4. Chris Newton
5. Nick Youngquest
6. Peter Wallace
7. Keith Peters
8. Jason Wrigley
9. Paul Aiton
10. David Thompson
11. Matt Bell
12. Junior Moors
13. David McLean

14. Steve O’Beirne
15. Alex Ranieri
16. John Nuumaalii
17. Wayne Bond

18. Lawrence Enosi
19. Michael Gordon
20. Liam Georgetown
21. Andrew Pearn
22. John Flint

Nrl: (Penrith Panthers) Wesser, Lewis, O’Halloran, Galea, Rooney, Campbell, Gower; Clinton, Priddis, Stapleton, Puletua, Pritchard, Waterhouse; Puletua, Cross, Swain, Rodney, Norrie

that would have to be the worst FG line up for Penrith i've seen. Also the most incorrect.

It can't be that far off.

What do you think the full strength Premier League line-up would be?

Big Mick is pretty much spot on there.

This could be more like it...

1. Michael Gordon
2. Lee Hookey
3. Bob Blair
4. Chris Newton
5. Brett Howland
6. Peter Wallace
7. Keith Peters
8. Jason Wrigley
9. Paul Aiton
10. Craig Stapleton
11. Luke Swain
12. Junior Moors
13. David McLean

14. David Thompson
15. Matt Bell
16. John Flint
17. Wayne Bond

Personally, it's one that can make the 8. We couldn't do any worse than last year (second last from memory), but if we don't make it this year, it will actually be more disappointing that last year.

Do you think Swainy would be dropped to PL? I guess it all depends on how they train in the off-season but I just can't see Langy putting Swainy down to PL on a permanent basis. He's all heart that boy and he should have a better year considering he came back from a serious neck injury.

With the current full strength 17 at Lang's disposal, yes, Swain will play premier league.

But he will play for the Panthers at some stage this season... how many games is anyone's guess.

ummm he's got talent, not going to be a superstar but I think he could make first grade again. One thing about him is he'll never give less than 100% and that goes a long way. I didn't see any of his superleague games so I'm still judging by his time at Balmain though so let me know how he goes.
