60% the Eels today, didn’t quite pan out the way they thought it would.

You still have to turn up regardless of your opposition. If you don't you leave yourselves open to to the likes of what happened today.

I understand our defence doesn’t allow for the likes of the Warriors to put 30 on us but at the same time we still have to turn up and be at our best. The good sides turn up every week and that is why they are the best. Unlike the Eels today, which is why perhaps they are pretenders instead of contenders.
The worriers are terrible could end up with the dreaded wooden spoon. We will put 40 on them maybe more. We turn up EVERY week. Ivan deserves far more credit than a lot of people on this site give him.

We are the benchmark for the NRL currently. Does this guarantee another premiership no it doesn’t a lot of footy to be played. All we have achieved thus far is put our in the best position to make the top four and probably a top two finish.

the competition will start once SOO is over, we are looking very good as it stands but it will only take an injury or two to key players to turn things on its head.

Seriously, let’s see where we are going into Round 24 against the Cowboys before making any predictions about back to back premierships.

Our phone it in game is very different to the Eels. Our worst was probably the Titans this year. Play our average game and turn it up for 10 mins and we’ll beat the Warriors 13+.

Also we played 28 games last year not 24 so our record is as below from 20-22. Would need to win out this year to get to 90%.
- 2020: 23 played, 20 wins, 87%
- 2021: 28 played, 24 wins, 86%
- 2022: 14 played, 13 wins, 93%
- Total: 65 Played, 57 wins, 88%

We did it through discipline and skill rather than our typical aggression and intensity (though we still played harder than the knights, just not as hard as usually do), which could be seen as an easier or smarter way to do it. It's just such a rare thing we have that I am worried when it goes it might not come back, but there was every excuse for it to not be there this game.

Our edge defence was susceptible on the right but the Knights didn't have the execution to make much of it. We are not as good defensively on the edges as last season but probably still as good anyone else in the comp.

Crichton looked like a true centre should, hopefully a sign for the future.
