People are under selling it because of their delicious tears

When Parra did it, The comp was virtually Sydney only and no salary cap. So a huge achievement to even be at this stage
Has Jerome laui stolen your account ?
Talk about going off early lmao

I've been itching to start a Parra of the 80s v Penrith of the 20s thread. But will wait until Penrith ??? Do it ???.

Both have 1 thing in common, although they have very good players throughout there is no out and out 'immortal' type player taking them above the rest of the comp. (Sterling comes close).

Just the old adage a champion team will beat a team of champions at work.

I'd have Kenny in the immortal conversation. Possibly Price would be up there somewhere as well.

For us I'd agree at this stage, Yeo is a weapon and I love him, but he isn't in the immortal discussions. Salmon maybe, but Stick would use his media mates to scupper the well earned accolades...

Penrith v St George 56-66 would be a more apt comparison.

Kenny > Ken Kearney.
Panthers are the the modern day dragons

only Injury or complacency can stop them winning titles

their only real threat this year, the broncos, are too inexperienced in big games and will face a cap squeeze

storm are rebuilding, south’s are a rabble and the roosters not much better

as long as Cleary, luai and edwards are fit they are hard to stop

Cleary himself said he’s still improving

The Broncos style doesn't suit the short 10m that Klein sets in finals, greasy surface of Accor too

An interesting thing about the Panthers is how little acollade the coach gets. Its all about the jnrs and little about the coach compared to say Bellamy or Robinson. Is he a great coach or just lucky enough to have had great jnr coaches who have given him great first graders?
