Well I mean The Cheese didn't dismantle it.

On the flipside he plays for Melbourne and calls himself The Cheese so he's still worse than Pol Pot
Panthers didn't dismantle it either.

But since this isn't Panthers bashing i doubt this story gets much attention on social media unlike the others which seem to be constantly reposted every 12 hours or so. Also being behind a paywall wouldn't help

Where are the offended, butthurt, “woke” individuals now who got all hot and bothered about this??

I’m looking at you @Someone2 @Rhyno …..
F**k the panthers disrespectful little brats

I feel sick in the stomach just seeing on the news what the assturds did to the trophy

I’m furious and if I was a panthers supporter I’d be burning my jerseys and demanding the club sack the d**kheads that did this

Nice article. Why not let the team have the trophy at the ground, then it stays there to be transported to HQ the next day? Actually don't do that, because then it signals that the do-gooders have won the day. We read an article where Laurie Daley says Canberra didn't really care about it at the time because they (presumably) were so pissed, the club's history book is going to have Mal nursing it broken on its cover, and Arthur Summons doesn't give a shit.

And on your last point, because social media. Social media is the worst thing to happen to the world. Ever. Honestly, I mean that.
The trophy is 25 years old. Has had hundreds of players drink from it been to Townsville, Brisbane, Melbourne and of course all over Sydney.

Some wear and tear was expected. It just happened to re-break on our watch

Not even an orchestrated smear campaign can bring down the mighty Penrith Panthers.

The truth always wins.

There, should, however, be a smear on this person. Piece of shit. May, I obviously mean.

The lady appears pretty messed up. Obviously the money didn't help. Yet, just like May, she keeps sticking her head up.

I can't stand him. Usually a player who has unlimited chances like he has had is insanely talented. Which doesn't make it right still. But you can understand it.

May is average though. He's a scummy piece of shit human who has shown he has no remorse for his actions by trying to play the victim and really only seems to have unlimited chances because he is best mates with Nathan. Hard to forgive a bloke who doesn't care about his actions or want to be better

No. This isn't it. Rethink this.

This is better.

I mean, regardless of whatever you know - there was a crime committed of which she was the victim.
I don't know anything, but certain things just don't add up.

The matter was determined almost two years ago. It is only because it is an NRL player that it both happened at all and is still being rehashed in the media now.

Staggs had the same done to him. You never hear from the lady involved. If NRL had a zero tolerance guys like May can slip into the never seen again

Certainly the latter is true. I don't get how you could say the fact that May is an NRL player meant the incident happened?

If May wasn't an NRL player no-one would have batted an eyelid seeing a pornographic video online. It became viral because it featured a famous person.

Having said that he was really foolish to post anything at all online referencing the matter, even thanking those who stood by him in his darkest hour. It was always going to be misconstrued by those with an agenda.

I was prepared to hear you out but I'm sorry, can't be OK with this logic.

It became viral because Tyrone May filmed it (without consent) then presumably shared it. And it wasn't just once with him, was it? So yeah OK, it potentially got noticed because it was Tyrone May, but if he'd never committed a legal act, obviously nothing happens. It's 100% on him and any other explanation takes the emphasis off this.

Tyrone May is the one black mark on this premiership. The fact that Ivan continues to back him is a blind spot, mostly because he's a shit human being but also because he's a bog average player that they should've banished in lower grades. That instagram quote after the GF was the pits. Absolutely no remorse nor learning come out of it for that deadshit.

Do you even remember the girls name that posted videos of Staggs? She isn't in the public eye so is able to go about her life. NRL players are offered the chance to have 2nd and 3rd chances but the fans/general public don't forgive
