Penrith's clours?

If its no problem, then why is penrith the most consitent poor performer for jumper sales?
Just tried to get you Panther fans working on a distinct and appealing rugby league style jumper/outfit.

I'd love to see the Panther jumper be the most popular in the League but this is not going to happen. I am suggesting the reasons why and hopefully getting the Panther fans to crack the code!

Distinct and appealing market recognition is a big part of the answer and this is primarily from the jumper the club wears! The track record is not good.

Good luck!

So, by your logic, if Penrith had an appealing jersey a, say bronco supporter, will go out and buy one!?

Wake up!!

Penrith supporters will buy Penrith jerseys. We get more supporters we get more sales. We get more wins we get more supporters. We maintain that winning culture we hold onto those supporters.

Black Majik,
Missing the point again!
Having an attractive rugby league style jumper(pick your colours but try unique ones) will assist your club in recognition in the market place. The market place is also potential Penrith supporters and people who may like attractive recognisable jumpers! But I keep labouring this point and your club keeps holding up the ladder in jumper sales and market recognition. For instance, Parramatta who came last has much more recognition and identifiability than Penrith. I used Cronulla as an example as they joined the League at the same as Penrith and I guarantee they are more recognisable than Penrith in the market place since entering the comp. They have stuck to their jumper style (which is unique and identifiable) and have impact in the market place, even when they were struggling!
I suggest a rugby league style jumper (V shape with piping down the sleeves or thick stripes?-something distinct) might be the way to go. You can pick your colours but at least stick to them!

Mind you Penrith arent the only club tossing too many jumper variations, The NZ Warriors, as of late, have been ridiculous in their changing of playing strips! So its not just Penrith but the Panthers do have a recognition issue in the market place and I am suggesting a fix! One Panther supporter had responded kindly to my comments and I appreciate it.

LJC, I think everyone appreciates your viewpoint & the fact you care enough to share it. Big problem though is you are sharing it on a Forum that has probably 20 hardcore Panthers supporters reading it. No one here has the power to change anything anyway.

Persoanly as I think I stated earlier in the thread I would be happy to go back to Brown & White. Certainly isnt going to get confused with anyone elses jersey! As for broader appeal...................................probably not up to scratch.

There's gonna be a new logo - heard feltis mention on that podcast thing they do. I don't think he meant to say it but he definitely did mention "new logo".

Maybe colours will change too.

I tweeted Gus about the logo earlier this year and he responded by saying they planned to stick with the current one for the time being.

Apparently it is a modernized version of the leaping Panther...potentially. If that's the case I'd be all for it.

I'm not buying a new jersey until they bring back the leaping panther. Hopefully I won't have to wait past next year.

The last jersey I bought was a bit of a poor fit. Are they making the cut slimmer these days? I don't like big baggy shirts.

I think the cut is a bit slimmer, but the sizing is still pretty big. I'm usually a medium-large/39" and I fit nicely in a small jersey.
