Perfect weekend

I have often wondered what my perfect weekend would be. I also have to admit I have never been able to come up with the ideal 2 days, maybe some footy saints win of course, in laws look after the kids while Mr & Mrs Johns get some down time with great food and even better wine on a secluded Island.

Interested to hear everyone else's.

Hmmm. Tough question. I would love to be in an isolated cabin in the rockies(has to canada though) in front of an open fire and nod off whlie I was watching the footy after a few beers and wake up in the morning and the wife has cooked some Canadian bacon and eggs. Beware, I am now dribbling like Homer.

I always think of the word perfect in association with the Paul Harrogan book 'One Perfect Day' in which he describes the 97 grandfinal win.

A perfect weekend for me would be Newcastle making the grandfinal in all three grades (still a chance) and winning all three with me in a great seat at the Olympic Stadium to watch the best day of football ever, then racing up the best thing out of Sydney (The Highway heading north) to be at the Hunter Street Mall, along with the hundred thousand others, to welcome the boys back to the true home of football in Australia (make that the World, it would be that day). The next day would be spent floating six feet above the ground.
