WESTS TIGERS SIGN TOYOTA CUP PLAYERS

Wests Tigers have taken up the option to sign 4 players from the current Toyota Cup Squad. Blake Lazarus, Blake Ayshford, Peni Tengive and Wayde Dunley will form part of the Wests Tigers Top 25 squad in season 2009.

That takes our Top 25 contracted players that can play in the halves to:

Banji Marshall, John Morris, Tim Moltzen, Wade Dunley, Blake Lazarus. Plus Ayshford has played five eighth aswell.

I can't see Matt Head being resigned now...

Heady's apparently filthy at the club (mostly) Sheens for messing him around, he's shown he is over his injuries, yet Sheens stills wants more from him playing behind the smallest & softest forward pack in the competition? I won't be surprised if he takes the Warrior's offer rather than waiting around for Tigers management to mess him around further, he does feel like he owes the Tigers a final hearing offer wise, given they gave him a lifeline by signing him, but he won't wait forever and the Warriors are keen.
