Kimmorleys general play kicking is average, lacks distance & is over utilised.
kimmorleys defense can be woeful sometimes missing up to 6 tackles in a match around the middle while only making around 12

Those things concern me. Greatly.

Especially after seeing kents shortest kick beat kimmorleys best.
& after Kent performing 26 tackles in the middle for 0 misses.

kent will be 5/8th & that is a good position for him.
Kimmorley is our number 1 halfback. he has 180 games experience there.

it does not take away from the problems however, that can be fixed.
kent kicks, Hilder kicks, Noddy tackles like kent & puts plays on.

When it comes to putting plays on, Kent has a lot of catching up to do.
Defensively, kent is all over BK. he reads the play better, he selects better, his technique is better & for a man the same size, he is obviously stronger.
He also did not play the half role like a part time player. You know, the ones who get protected in defense so they have it left for attack?
Kents kicks go 15 20m further than BK's So do Sullys.
Leave the short grubbers for BK while on the line.

I doubt kent will ever play half again. But if BK is ever injured, I think rapes found the answer to his most concerning question on the weekend.

I would stick with Kimmorley because he has adapted to Stu Rapers game plan well.
He can organise the team & steer them & is capable of setting up the plays which is why he is ranked highly in try assists.
But to think we will ever win a grand final without fixing the issues I have raised is silly. Actually it is beyond silly.
His defense has to improve. Alot.
He has to be as far away as possible from the goal kicking.
He has to give the clearing kicks to somebody else.
He has to stop kicking the ball dead when he grubbers.
he has to get better at corner bombs.

Also if BK was dropped, it would only leave $6,000 for the rest of the PL Cap & the rest of the squad. ;-)
