It's 2001. Heading into round 2, we are in all sorts of trouble after being beaten at home by 30-6. We head out to Parramatta, who's tails are up after a 40-4 win in Round 1 and are rightly firm favourites to belt us by fifty.

History records a gutsy 13-12 win to Cronulla, which turns out to be Parramatta's only loss at home on their way to winning the Minor Premiership. As for the Sharks, we finish the year 4th, and go within a whisker of a Grand Final appearance.

We have another 23 rounds to play. Anyone who writes this team off after one game is a fool.

Thats all well and good Jimbo, but I don't think many of have written them off. I have simply made comments on what I watched last night. It was pathetic and to call it anything else is just wrong. We might come out and play well next week, we might not, no one knows. All we can go on is what we have seen this year. Can we forgive them for that run? I'd say so, but like I said I don't know and only time will tell.
