It won't be a rivalry like Souths and Easts. No fellow feeling here.
After the Northern Eagles, the Bears fans I know genuinely hate Manly - not in an "I support my team and anyone who plays Manly" way; they hate them in a "I hope you die screaming in agony with blood leaking out of your eyes and your muscles spasming so hard they tear off the bone" type way.

Will they officially be wearing red and black? The NRL and Perth might have the Bears but maybe not the North Sydney Bears bear.

For me, essentially it needs to have the Western Reds colours with a fresh and modern take on the Bears logo.
I'm already dead against the Bears forcing themselves on Perth, but if they have to be involved, they better put some yellow trim somewhere in there.

Bears fans will 100% fly over for the Manly game, that’s what WA want, it’ll be a big draw to the state. It makes way more sense to host someone like the Titans at NSO, if they’re going to play their Sydney game there, as it’ll sell out regardless.

I wouldn't play Manly for their 1 NSO game that's a waste. Take a lower drawing game and rebuild that rivalry at their new home ground.

Panthers v Bears at NSO please. Not everyone likes footy at these types of grounds but its my go to.

I should have gone to Dolphins v Panthers back in 2023. Its $220 to sit on that deck and watch the footy at Kayo stadium.

For me, this new Bears entity requires a complete refresh, new modern Logo, a jersey that takes from both the Bears and Reds, definitely needs Yellow as a trim colour.
They can't just plonk the Nth Sydney Bears as they are in Perth and expect it to be the best they could do.
