Qlders are much the same and its a big reason we ended up with the Titans and not the GC Bears

For every other QLD team, I agree. But I reckon if we had gone with the GC Bears, they'd be no less successful and have no less following that the current team in the bermuda triangle for sporting teams.

WA needs it's own team and identity... they are parochial and that will be awesome for the Perth Bears... I really hope the old bears contingent don't f**k this up for Perth. I like Billy Moore, but he is not the face of Perth Bears and he came across as such a flog on the post game show last night.

I feel the same but if they can strike a balance like the Swans have done, it can work.

North Sydney are not moving to Perth like South Melbourne moved to Sydney. It is more like the Lions, where old Fitzroy would be about 10% of the new club. Simply taking the mascot, and some fans for away games.

Bears will be run by Perth, in Perth, for Perth.

I know a few ex bears fans and they are all devoted followers of current clubs now. All have indicated they will follow the bears as their 2nd favourite team, not switch allegiences.

I'll most likely be a member ig it works out much cheaper than going to individual games. Second club though,Ib won't be changing allegiance.

Magic does suit Brisbane perfectly but the NRL should absolutely follow through with their threat to move it if the QLD Government doesn’t play ball with infrastructure upgrades, particularly Suncorp.

They will keep the 2 Norths ones, so they will already be ahead of
St George - Illawarra….
